Our Process
The DESIGN, BUILD and MANAGEMENT of complete integrated Off-Grid systems can be technically very complex and involve many stakeholders both internally and externally. Technologies, products, costing and design methodologies are constantly changing, as are the regulatory and environmental policy considerations. Off-Grid Energy Stuff in conjunction with key technology partners has the expertise and experience to coordinate and manage all aspects of Off-Grid projects of any size and budget.
1.YOUR ENQUIRY. You, the Client makes an enquiry and arrange a suitable time to have a conversation with one of our Off-Grid Specialists.
2.ENERGY ASSESSMENT. Completion of a full energy assessment. During this assessment, along with answering all your questions, they will help you:
- establish your electrical loads over a typical day – both daytime and nighttime
- determine the size of your solar PV system based on your specific location
- choose the type of panels, inverters and batteries
- establish the location of solar panels in relation to angles, available sunlight, shading and temperature
- establish the location of inverters and battery bank
3.SYSTEM DESIGN & ENGINEERING. Design of your system. You will be provided with a quote for a customized Off-Grid system fully installed based on your expected electricity usage, expected power peak demand, available roof space, budget etc. You will receive an indication of what you can expect in terms of the performance of your system, available finance options and indicative lead time to get a system fully installed.
4.ORDER CONFIRMATION AND DEPOSIT. At acceptance of the quote, you’ll receive an invoice/order/deposit confirmation.
5.INSTALLATION SCHEDULING. You’ll receive an installation date and further instruction related to the installation of your system.
6.INSTALLATION, COMMISSIONING, HAND-OVER, FOLLOW UP. The installation is usually completed in one to two days (dependant upon weather and size of the system), by our local CEC accredited Off-Grid Installers. They will hand over the system to you with operation instructions. You sign the STC forms and pay the balance of the system at installation day. Our friendly staff will follow up after the installation of your system making sure the whole process and the system match your expectations.
